Go-live checklist

Once you press Launch, your salon is open and can take bookings straight away. This page is a quick checklist of what already works and what you might want to switch on next.

Ready the moment you launch

As soon as you finish setup, you can:

  • Take bookings — on the calendar, and from your public booking page.
  • Record revenue and VAT correctly — the Norwegian tax rates were set up for you automatically.
  • Use your free trial — explore every feature before you subscribe.

This is enough to run a cash-based salon on day one.

Switch on when you're ready

These unlock more, and you can turn them on any time from Settings — no rush:

You want to… Turn on Where
Take deposits or online payments Connect a payment provider and enable deposits Settings → Payment
Send official invoices (PDF) Enter your legal business name and org. number Settings → Legal & tax
Push sales to your accounting software Connect your accounting provider and map accounts Settings → Accounting

Connecting your accounting software (for automatic bookkeeping) is deliberately kept out of the initial setup — it needs a few extra details. You'll find it under Settings → Accounting whenever you're ready.

A suggested first-week checklist

Not required, but a good order to get fully up and running:

  1. Finish your service menu — prices and durations you're happy with. → Services
  2. Add your team and their schedules — so bookings land on the right person. → Team · Work schedules
  3. Set your booking rules — cancellation notice, deposits, auto-confirm. → Settings
  4. Add your branding — logo and cover image for your public page. → Settings
  5. Share your booking page — send the link to customers and add it to your social profiles.
  6. Install the mobile app — so you and your team can work from your phones. → Mobile app
